“Taking place at St George’s Hall, Liverpool, the 2011 Design Show will be open to the public on Thursday 6th to Saturday 9th October, from 10am to 6pm. Find beautiful, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts, or treat yourself to something truly unique. Featuring over 90 contemporary designer makers, Design Show will present a range of exciting and inspiring interior products, glass, ceramics, furniture, lighting, jewellery, textiles and fashion – all set in the stunning, neo-classical surroundings of St George’s Hall in the heart of Liverpool.

Show visitors will have the opportunity to spot trends, meet and buy from up and coming designers, watch professional catwalk shows, take part in hands-on workshops, hear talks from successful designers and relax over a coffee.

Calling all football lovers and fantasy football enthusiasts.

DesignedMade is delighted to announce that we will be running a league within the official Fantasy Premier League game, for the 2011-2012 season. It’s a good bit of fun and adds an extra dimension to watching the football at the weekend! The game is very easy to play and manage.

And for the design conscious players – you even get to choose the colour and style of your team’s kit!

If we can get 200 players involved in the league we will offer some monthly prizes for the Manager of the Month and an overall prize for the winner of the league. To register for the game please visit: fantasy.premierleague.com

The Steel Molecular range applies DesignedMade’s signature graphic style to the molecular structure of steel, resulting in a pattern that is both decorative and informative. The pattern, which represents the combination of iron and carbon atoms that make up the material itself, lends the pieces an educational function in addition to their primary purpose. The collection currently consists of fruit bowls and coasters which are punched from mild steel using a custom-designed tool.

DesignedMade worked closely with the buying team at the Science Museum shop to develop the products.
