Tarantula Tea Light in white

DesignedMade will launch the Tarantula Tea Light in white at the Pulse trade show in June.

DesignedMade founder and designer of the Tarantula Tea Light, Jonathan Krawczuk explains that it is the ideal time to produce this popular design in a new colourway: “The white finish on the Tarantula Tea Light adds an extra touch of elegance to the product, it really suits the strong linear form. Since we launched the Tarantula in 2009, we’ve had endless requests at trade shows and from customers for the product in white. We originally launched the Tarantula at Pulse so it seems quite fitting that it’s going to be the backdrop for this new release.”

Pulse Trade Show - Launchpad 2011

DesignedMade will make its third consecutive appearance at the annual Pulse trade show, a leading event on the design calendar.

Last year at the show we were awarded the Best Newcomer Launchpad 2010 – Thorsten van Elten award, which was a great honour and accolade. As well as taking orders from new stockists in the UK, we sealed our first export order to Japan where our products are now being exclusively distributed by G.H. Carriere. We hope that Pulse 2011 will be as successful as the 2010 show.

This year you can find us (in the same place as last year), at Stand LP7, Earls Court 1 from 5-7 June.

If you haven’t registered for Pulse yet go to:

Chris Natt from Chesterfield has been announced as the winner of the Northern Futures 3D Design category for which DesignedMade founder Jonathan Krawczuk was one of the judges.

The judging panel was particularly impressed with Chris’ product Sting, which offers a practical solution to tackling disease in third-world countries.

Jonathan Krawczuk commented: “It was great to be part of the Northern Futures judging panel. The standard of work was very high and demonstrated that there is some fantastic talent in the north of England. Well done to Chris Natt who is a deserved winner of this inaugural Northern Futures Award, he showed a very impressive selection of work. A big congratulations must also go to everybody involved in putting these awards together, especially Patrick Murphy, Director of the Awards.
